No. 1 Watanabe's indigo dyeing "light indigo"

¥16,500

This apron is made of the thickest and highest quality No. 1 fabric. The dyeing is done by Watanabe's, a company in Tokushima Prefecture that grows indigo plants from seed and pursues dyeing techniques. The aprons are dyed by a local dyer. The beautiful indigo dyed aprons change over time, and there are slight differences in the shade depending on the timing of the dyeing. This is also one of the joys of indigo dyeing. Why not try growing your own one-of-a-kind aprons?
