Care Instructions

- Washing

Maekake can be washed in a washing machine. Please note the following:

  1. Please avoid using fabric softener.
  2. Due to the nature of the dye, some color fading may occur during the first wash, so please wash separately from white or light-colored items.
  3. Due to the characteristics of the fabric, slight shrinkage may occur.

- Drying

Because the fabric is thick, excessive spin-drying may cause wrinkles.
Please keep the spin cycle short, about 1 minute, and hang dry while the fabric still contains some moisture.

Please also note the following:

  1. After washing, please avoid using a tumble dryer.

- Ironing

For maekake with inkjet or silkscreen printing, please avoid applying the iron directly to the printed area.

We offer repair services for well-used maekake, including broken or damaged pockets and waist ties. Please see the pricing below.

* We can repair not only maekake made by Anything, but also family-used maekake and vintage maekake.

* Shipping costs are additional.

- Free Repair Service for Our Semi-Custom and Full-Custom Maekake

For semi-custom and full-custom maekake made by Anything, we offer free repairs such as waist tie replacement and pocket repair for items that have been more than 5 years since the original order.

  • Shipping costs to our office are the customer’s responsibility.
  • If the item is sent to us cash on delivery, we will also return it cash on delivery after repair.
  • If you would like to add a pocket to a maekake that originally did not have one, this can be done for an additional fee.
  • Printed areas are not covered by the repair service, and reprinting is not available.
  • If you are unsure when your order was placed, please feel free to contact us by phone. We may be able to check the order timing based on your name or design details.
