Unlike an apron that ties at the waist, a Maekake (Japanese apron) is tied firmly at the hip bone level (slightly below the belt). The main difference is that by doing so, it stabilizes the pelvis and plays a role in "protecting the lower back" by "reducing the strain on the lower back when lifting heavy objects."
For this reason, people in professions that handled heavy items such as sake, rice, and miso have favored using Maekake since ancient times.

Both are fabrics originally planned by Anything, but they differ in thread thickness. Because the No. 1 Maekake is woven with "threads twice as thick" as the No. 2 Maekake, it results in a thicker, more durable fabric.

This is Anything's "standard fabric," characterized by its softness and suppleness from the start. It comes in a cute rice bag package, making it a popular gift.

The color generally does not fade, but as a precaution, please wash separately from whites for the first few washes. Our products also meet the "colorfastness to washing" standards set by department stores and other retailers.

Yes, you can.
However, to prevent the printed area from fading, we recommend washing without fabric softener. Also, please use a gentle spin cycle and hang dry in the shade. Since the fabric is thick, strong spinning can make wrinkles difficult to remove.

Semi-custom orders are made by adding the text you want to include or a pattern, such as a maneki-neko (beckoning cat), that we have prepared, to our basic format.

Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot accept requests to incorporate the unique logos of artists, etc.

If it is an original character created by the customer, we can fully customize it.
We are unable to accept requests for commercially available characters due to copyright restrictions.

If you wish to print all patterns in different colors, there is no additional charge and it is possible to change them. Please specify this in the notes section (e.g., print light blue on ecru).
However, if you wish to change only a part of the color, a separate fee will apply, so please inquire.

You can choose a washi paper box (縁箱 - enishibako) for an additional 440 yen.

It is rare for the weft threads to fray at the bottom of the MAEKAKE, but you can stop the fraying by gently pulling the thread all the way to the edge of the fabric and cutting it with scissors.
The "縁 Enishi" tag in the lower right also acts as a fray stopper, so it will not fray further.

Even if the MAEKAKE was not made by our company, we accept repairs.
