"TOHOKU FRUITS" T-shirt
We have just completed a new "Japan Support T-shirt" as part of our ongoing efforts since April 2011.
Peaches, apples, strawberries, cherries...This year's theme is "Tohoku Fruits."
I also have friends who are fruit farmers in Miyagi, Yamagata, and other places, and they are all healthy and produce delicious fruit.
Mr. Fukada of Fukanaka Plating Industry and I planned this event again this year, with the hope that people would learn about the current state of Tohoku three years later.
The T-shirt design was created by designer Yukie Kaneko, who continued to volunteer in the area after the earthquake.
He also has a French artist certificate, and this time, when I looked closely,
The design resembles a smiling face drawn with fruit.
There is a "heart" mark on the back, with the meaning of never forgetting that day.
For each ticket, 500 yen will be donated directly to Ishinomaki City Hall.
