The museum actively introduces Japan's world-renowned culture of "Wa", as well as its "beauty" and "technology", from a new perspective, and is home to a museum of textile culture and ukiyo-e art, as well as a Japanese select shop.
The exhibits range from pre-war kimonos that were actually used and were full of patchwork, and each one has a story. It was very interesting to see what Japan was like at the time conveyed through the patched-up kimonos.
The culture of that time, conveyed through very familiar objects, is filled with the same feelings of people as today, even though the objects themselves may be different. I think that foreign visitors will find this an interesting insight into Japanese culture, and Japanese people will have a strange feeling as if they can picture what things were like back then.

Furthermore, on the first floor of AMUSE MUSEUM there is a Japanese goods select shop that sells a variety of stylish items rather than typical Japanese souvenirs.
Anything aprons are displayed in a very prominent location and there is a wide selection of products available.
The exhibits are wonderful and the select shop is stylish, so be sure to stop by if you're in Asakusa.
I highly recommend it.
