Tsukamoto, the largest Mashiko pottery manufacturer

tsukamoto1.jpg We went to Tsukamoto Co., Ltd., the largest Mashiko ware manufacturer, to set up a sales area for their new aprons.

There are many facilities to enjoy, such as factory tours and pottery experiences, but the art museum where you can feel the weight of 150 years was amazing.

You can enjoy works by famous masters such as Munakata Shiko's folding screens "Daitomi" and "Koi in Prison," as well as Hamada Shoji, Kawai Kanjiro, Serizawa Seisuke, Kamoda Shoji, Goda Yoshimichi, and Shimaoka Tatsuzo.

The Artists' Museum exhibits and sells works by the late Living National Treasure, Shoji Hamada, as well as other ceramic artists living in Mashiko.

tsukamoto2.jpg Aprons are available at the main building.
Why not try wearing an apron when experiencing pottery?

The I'mDORAEMON apron series and the I'mDORAEMON Mashiko ware series are also available.

It is an honour to have my work carried by such a historic pottery manufacturer.
