A monthly sales event is held at the Toyohashi factory!
In addition to maekake aprons, we will be selling outlet products, fabric before it becomes maekake, and fabric scraps. There will also be mini factory tours and workshops. This is a chance to see a factory that is usually not open to the public.
Admission is free. Please feel free to join us!

Event Contents
1. Maekake Apron and Maekake Fabric Sale
In addition to maekake aprons, we will be selling fabric before it becomes maekake, fabric scraps, and outlet maekake aprons.
2. Mini Factory Tour
You can observe the maekake apron production process from outside the factory. See the 100-year-old shuttle looms in operation up close!
*Please note that this may be canceled in case of rain.
3. Workshop: " Stencil Experience with Maekake Fabric Sacoche Bags"
You will have a stencil experience using authentic stencils made by "Kanwa Mansen," a dye shop founded in 1902 with over 100 years of history, on sacoche bags made from "maekake fabric" woven on looms that have been operating for 100 years. Children can also participate!
After the stencil experience, staff will provide explanations of the factory. You can also see the looms actually in motion.
Finally, there will be a commemorative photo opportunity in front of the shuttle loom! Please enjoy this unique sacoche making experience, where you can touch the traditional maekake culture.
