Can I buy Maekake? Can I tour the factory? In response to such requests, we are holding sales events every month at the Toyohashi factory!
In addition to aprons, outlet items, We will be selling fabric and scraps before they are made into Maekake. We will also be holding mini factory tours and workshops. This is your chance to see a factory that is not usually open to the public.
Admission is free and no reservations are required. Come and join us!

Event Details
1. Maekake and Maekake Fabric Sales Event
In addition to aprons, we will be selling fabric that has not yet been made into Maekake scraps, and outlet Maekake.
2. Mini factory tour
You can observe how the aprons are made from outside the factory. See the 100-year-old shuttle looms in action up close! A guided tour will be given by a craftsman from 2:00 p.m.

3. Workshop "Stencil experience with a sacoche made from apron fabric "
At Anything, looms manufactured 100 years ago are still in operation. Fabric woven on traditional shuttle looms has a nice texture and is both thick and soft. This time, you will be able to try out stencil printing on a sacoche made from apron fabric. The stencils used in the experience were created by Kanwamansen, a dyeing shop founded in 1902 with over 100 years of history. You will be able to try out the experience using authentic stencils.
We also plan to have you tour the factory from outside before the experience. Why not experience the history of weaving together? Experience the fabric woven on an old shuttle loom with your own hands and enjoy making a one-of-a-kind sacoche. You can take home the sacoche you made on the day.
