Held monthly! We will hold a sale event of Maekake and fabrics at the Toyohashi Factory.

In response to the requests from customers asking if they can buy Maekake or take a tour of the factory, we will hold a monthly sales event at the Toyohashi Factory! The first event will be held on Wednesday, June 11.
We will be selling not only Maekaake, but also outlet items, fabrics before they are made into Maekake, and scrap. In addition, we will also hold small factory tours and workshops. This is a chance to see a factory that is not usually open to the public.

2. small factory tour
You can see how Maekakes are made from outside the factory, and see a 100-year-old shuttle loom in action up close!
The tour may be cancelled in case of rain. Please understand that the event may be cancelled in case of rain.
3. Workshop "Stenciling with a sacoche made of Maekake fabric

A loom manufactured 100 years ago is still in operation at Anything. The fabric woven on the traditional “shuttle loom” has a good texture, thickness, and softness. This time, visitors will experience stencil printing on a sacoche made from such “M aekake” fabric. The stencils used for this experience were created by “Kanwa Mansen,” a dyeing shop established in 1902 with a history of more than 100 years. Visitors can experience using authentic stencils.
We also plan a tour of the factory from the outside before the experience. Would you like to feel the history of textiles together with us? We hope you will enjoy making your one-of-a-kind sacoche by experiencing the fabric woven on an old shuttle loom with your own hands. You can take home your own sacoche on the day of the tour.
