Our company's Nishimura appeared on the radio show J-Wave!

I'm sure you've all been busy wrapping up 2009.

Meanwhile, on the radio program "J-wave" on December 30th

Our company's Nishimura will be appearing as a voice only!

J-Wave has a theme for each show, such as art or traditional culture.

It is presented with a focus on.

We always listen to it during our lunch breaks at our company,

I was surprised when I got contacted by this program.

The show was titled "Old and New Aprons" and featured a 10-minute exchange with DJ Rachel Chan.

Aprons have long been used as work wear in Japan.

What once declined and was forgotten has recently

Also, since it has become common to see

Maybe it has an image of being "old and new."

Aprons are the complete opposite of the "disposable phenomenon" so prevalent today.

The more you use it, the more character it develops, and it can be used by generations of parents and children.

I will give the apron I used for work to my child.

Was this something that was common practice in the past?

It may be unthinkable now, but

I hope that this will happen again, even if only little by little.

Did you all hear the surly voice of our company's Nishimura?

Well, have a happy new year...
