With 260 years of history... "Iwataya" commemorative apron

We created aprons to commemorate the 260th anniversary of Iwataya, a beloved department store in the city of Hakata!

Iwataya has a long history, having been founded as Iwataya Kimono Store in 1754 during the Edo period.
It continues to be a beloved department store in the Hakata Tenjin area.

It went on sale on April 1st, but the first production run sold out in just one day.
They are currently accepting reservations for the next production run.

The design was created by our designer, Ogura, in consultation with the person in charge at Iwataya, based on newspaper flyers and leaflets from the time.

Combining Iwataya's history with the apron has resulted in an apron that is loved by everyone in Hakata.
(Apparently, some people came from Tokyo to buy them.)
thank you very much!
