No. 1 Discharge print "The Rolling Stones" Maekake

This Maekake, made from thick, high-quality No. 1 fabric, features the logo of the legendary British rock band "The Rolling Stones" dyed using a discharge printing method.

It is slowly woven on a shuttle loom using three thick strands of yarn, giving it a thick yet soft, airy texture. This special fabric, which cannot be woven on modern looms, carries on the history of Maekake aprons.

For this Maekake, after dyeing the fabric, the pattern is created by "discharge printing," a technique that removes the dye to reveal the original color of the fabric. Unlike regular printing, the pattern will not deteriorate. You can enjoy an authentic apron with a traditional feel.

By tying the waist string tightly, it protects your lower back, making it perfect for daily household chores. The more you use it, the softer it becomes and the more it conforms to your body.

About Anything's Maekake Aprons

The "Maekake" apron is a traditional workwear that has been used since the Edo period. By tying the waist string tightly, it tightens the hip bones and protects the lower back.
At our factory in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, shuttle looms manufactured by Toyota and Suzuki 100 years ago are still in active use, and skilled craftsmen carefully weave the fabric.

Care Instructions

・Due to the nature of the material, there may be weave irregularities and yarn slubs.
・Color transfer to other fabrics may occur due to friction.
・Do not use bleach or fabric softener when washing.
・Do not wash with hot water.
・Avoid tumble drying.
・Due to the nature of the fabric, it may shrink slightly after washing.
・If the weft threads fray in the fringe area, gently pull the thread to the edge of the fabric and cut it with scissors to stop it.
