This apron is made from No. 1 fabric, which is the thickest and finest fabric. No. 1 fabric uses thread count number 4 (a unit of thread thickness, pronounced "bande"). Generally, thread counts 1 to 20 are considered thick, and when used in fabric, it produces a thick and sturdy fabric. By weaving this thread on a slow shuttle loom from 100 years ago, a thick but airy fabric is produced. This is a fabric that cannot be woven on the latest looms.
The size is not the length of the apron, but the length used by cafe staff, so we call it cafe size. It has a pocket, which is convenient for storing stationery such as a notepad, a cell phone, etc.
