This is a short-length MAEKAKE made from thick, high-quality No. 1 fabric.

No. 1 quality thick fabric is woven using No. 3 thread.
Generally, yarns numbered 1 through 20 are considered thick. By combining these threads and weaving them slowly on a 100-year-old shuttle loom, we create a fabric that is substantial yet airy and soft to the touch. This special fabric, which cannot be produced on modern looms, preserves the history of the MAEKAKE for future generations.

The length is not that of a standard MAEKAKE, but rather a shorter style similar to those worn by café staff. It has been well-received because even petite women can wear it comfortably without feeling self-conscious. It features a pocket where you can store items such as a smart phone or stationery.

Tightening the waist tie provides support for your lower back, making it perfect for daily household chores. The fabric softens and molds to your body the more you use it.
