Anything's Special [梵 Born] Highest Quality Maekake

This is Anything's highest quality Maekake, made from the thickest and highest quality No. 1 fabric.
By slowly weaving the fabric in-house using a shuttle loom made by Toyota Loom Works that is over 100 years old, we are able to create a fabric that is thick yet airy and soft to the touch.
This is a special fabric that cannot be woven on the latest looms and conveys the history of aprons to the present day.

For this product, we worked with Kato Kichibei Shoten LLC to incorporate the image of "梵 Born" into Anything's finest Maekake.
The basic color scheme of the apron is navy blue, which represents sincerity to customers. In addition, the red and white waist cord on the front and back has been passed down since ancient times as an auspicious color.
While respecting the basic color scheme of the apron, the "Born" design is expressed using a discharge dyeing technique (removing color) on fabric that has been dyed navy blue.
The design has been bleached to return it to the color of the cotton, recreating the historic technique of creating Maekake.

Care Instructions:

• Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not wash with hot water.
• Please wash separately from white items as the dye may transfer to other fabrics.
• Due to the nature of the fabric, it may shrink slightly after washing.
