About Anything's Maekake (Aprons)
Maekake are traditional work aprons that have been used since the Edo period. By tightening the waist string, they firm the lower back and protect it.
At our own factory in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Toyota and Suzuki shuttle looms, manufactured 100 years ago, are still in active operation, and skilled artisans carefully weave the fabric.
