Our sales event is held monthly at the Toyohashi Factory!
In addition to mae-kake (traditional Japanese aprons), we also offer outlet items, pre-mae-kake fabrics, and fabric scraps. We also hold mini factory tours and workshops. This is a chance to see the factory that is usually not open to the public.
Admission is free. We look forward to seeing you there!

Event Contents
1. Maekake & Maekake Fabric Sale
In addition to maekake, we will be selling pre-mae-kake fabrics, fabric scraps, and outlet maekake.
2. Mini Factory Tour
You can observe the production of mae-kake from outside the factory. Get a close-up look at 100-year-old shuttle looms in operation!
*Please note that the event may be canceled in case of rain.
3. Workshop: " Stencil Experience with Maekake Fabric Sacoche"
Experience stenciling on a sacoche made from "maekake fabric" produced on a loom that has been operating for 100 years. We will use authentic stencils created by "Kanwamansen," a dye shop with over 100 years of history since its establishment in Meiji 35 (1902). Children are welcome to participate!
After the stenciling experience, our staff will provide an explanation of the factory. You can also see the looms in actual operation.
At the end, you can take a commemorative photo in front of the shuttle loom! Come and enjoy creating your own sacoche while experiencing the traditional culture of mae-kake.
