The "Japan Support T-shirt" was completed on April 9, 2011, and 240 copies were purchased, including from overseas.
In July 2011, I made a direct donation to Ishinomaki City Hall together with some fellow business owners from Sumida Ward.
And now... one year later, in 2012. "Nishimura, let's do it again this year!" "Let's do it."
This year's T-shirt theme...
Altruism: I am because you are
“Because you are, I am.”
I was able to do my best because you were there.
That's the kind of "you" I want to be.

I asked Suzuki Chigusa, who has been helping me in New York, to help me with the English.
Chikusa is a local resident translator and has also received the MVT Translator of the Year Award.

"Because you exist, I exist too.
I am because you are.
It is also used as the English translation of the term Ubuntu, a traditional African worldview.
Each human being is intimately intertwined with the other's existence,
The saying goes, "Without others, there is no value in one's existence."
The final design was left to Mao Shimizu (graphic designer), and it was a kanji design that was not too strong.
I had it designed to be cute and suitable for everyday wear.
This year, sales will begin on February 2nd. Please be sure to purchase one.
Once again, Mr. Fukada and Mr. Nishimura will take responsibility for sending all of your donations to Ishinomaki. Thank you for your support.
