Mr. Inoue of Laodi, who has been in Laos for 10 years and grows sugar cane and produces rum there, sent us a photo of his apron.

On the right is Inoue-san and on the left is his assistant Inako-san.

Laodi rum is now highly regarded in France and other countries, and can be found in several specialty shops in Laos called "Laodi Bars."

In the background you can see a sugarcane field.

It's one of the places I'd love to visit!
