Apron from Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture!

fukuyama1.jpg We received an order for a fully custom-made "dye-out" from our Tokyo office in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

The crest in the center is the city emblem of Fukuyama, which was established in 1917.

You can see it when you go by the Shinkansen, but Fukuyama Castle is located at the north exit of Fukuyama Station. It was originally called Bat Mountain, and the character for "bat" (蝠) is related to the character for "happiness," so the city was named "Fukuyama." The city's emblem is modeled after a bat and a mountain.

Aprons normally have the store name, pattern, and logo in the center, so having the historic city emblem on them makes them look even more appealing!
