Large and juicy 'broad beans'
We received these photos from Mr. Honma of Minamiboso Honmaru Farm in Minamiboso, Chiba Prefecture!

Honmaru Farm is a wonderful farm in Minami Boso, Chiba, run by a warm-hearted couple who graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (located near Anything... ^^). They grow rice and vegetables using no pesticides and fertilizers rich in minerals.

His wife wears a cafe apron called "Shiawase MON"
My husband's apron is "Family MON".
This is a perfect photo of Family MON, the three of them with their newborn baby.

Not only that, but behind you all, there are apparently "broad beans" growing, just like MON's.

And, to my surprise, they also sent me a lot of those huge broad beans, as you can see in the photo.

You can boil it and have it as a beer snack, cook it with rice, or make it into tempura...all of our staff will be grateful to enjoy this current 'seasonal' dish.
