Musician Kanki Kai shared some of the things she uses when performing:
She sent me a photo of herself wearing the costume with an apron.

Kanki Kai is attracting attention for her new genre known as 'new generation nagashi'.

When performing their 'nagashi' activities, they wear these spirited vermilion aprons and perform.

In the center is the character for "flow" and the character for "samurai."
It features a "Ryuushi" design.

Another face of Kanki Kai is...
He is the vocalist and guitarist of the acoustic band "Nagareyama," a trio that produces beautiful music with a theme of the end of the Edo period.

I also got to see their live performance,

Making full use of the "Ichigoichie" instrument made by BEGIN and Yairi Guitars, which is said to be a dream new instrument,
"Kamiyoshie" with her mysterious singing voice,
Toshiaki Kanamaru, one of Japan's leading soloists,
And then there's Takahiro Yamaji, who plays the drums with his bare hands.
It's a wonderful band made up of three people with different personalities.
