An original apron from Ramen Kiraboshi Manten in Nakano, Tokyo!

apron We were asked to create an apron for Ramen Kiraboshi Manten-sama, which opened in Nakano, Tokyo on December 19, 2009.

We were approached about making aprons for the opening of the second branch of Ramen Kiraboshi in Musashino-sakai.

apron The design was decided during a meeting with the store owner, Mr. Hoshino, at the apron showroom!

The apron is made with special care and features Hoshino's handwritten logo and lettering, which is also used on the noren curtains at the Musashino-sakai main store.

It was made to order!

This is an ultra-rich tonkotsu ramen and their famous fist-sized fried chicken.
The noodles are made by hand every morning using the noodle-making machine in the store!
The soup is a rich pork bone soup simmered thoroughly using a custom-made kettle.
It takes a whopping 36 hours to complete.
