We have been making aprons for Ramen Tama Gumi, a volunteer association of 14 well-known ramen shops in the Tama area in western Tokyo, with the aim of revitalizing the local area and developing the ramen industry.

On March 14, 2010, the Musashiya restaurant in Kichijoji will be the venue, where you can eat the original rich back fat miso ramen.
I visited Tamamatsuri for an interview.
Before the store even opened, there was a huge line of nearly 100 customers!

The ramen shop owners lined up to greet us.
I want to revitalize the Tama area and the ramen industry!
This is the passion that went into the ramen.
I was also happy to be able to help out a little by wearing my apron.

The apron design was created by illustrator Ken Aoki, and the pocket features Ramen Tamagumi's character "Tama-chan."
