It opened on October 1, 2008.
Asahikawa Ramen (Miso Ramen) made an apron with the image of bananas growing on a baobab tree for their first foray into Tokyo! All the staff at the restaurant wore the apron.
(Mae-kake Chief: Ushioda)

When I asked him about the origin of the shop's name,
The store manager, Mr. Aoyagi, who was born in Asahikawa, said, "I wanted to create a store that didn't look like a ramen shop, so I thought about it myself! That's why the words "Asahikawa Ramen" aren't even on the sign!"
He answered with a smile.
It was made to order!

The same design as the apron is available on T-shirts, Noren curtains,
It is also painted on the wall of the store.
